EL DULCE MATA
100% Muscat of Alexandria
The Dulce Mata is made with grapes of the Moscatel variety from La Mata Natural Park in Torrevieja. Vineyards planted more than 50 years ago on loam in very sandy and saline soils.
VINIFICATION: Late harvest carried out manually in small plastic boxes. After strict selection in the winery, the must is fermented with its skins in an earthen jar until fermentation stops naturally when the level of alcohol inhibits the yeasts, leaving only a few grams of residual sugar.
TASTING NOTES: Intense amber color. With aromas of cane honey, beeswax and jams. It has nuances of dates, dried fruits and dehydrated fruit. The entry into the mouth is enveloping and silky. It is a sweet wine, which, as its name suggests, contains little residual sugar. On the palate it is fresh and full, with a marked and present tannin that comes from contact with the skins and from the clay of the jar. It is a long wine with a balanced acidity that makes it ideal to drink alone, or accompanied by a variety of desserts and cheeses. And above all to enjoy it accompanied by a good book or a good movie.
